Non-Toxic replacement for Rubbing Alcohol in Natural Glass cleaner?
Ok, so a good natural glass cleaner is: 1 cup rubbing alcohol 1 cup water 1 tablespoon vinegar My question is, is there a non-toxic (and natural) replacement for the rubbing alcohol in this glass cleaner?

- vodka should work as it is similar in makeup and lacks the chemicals that make it toxic.
- Any clear grain alcohol will work. Gin, Vodka, Everclear, White rum or Tequila.
- I don't know if you're looking to buy anything, but Simple Green has recently come out with an auto glass cleaner that works well on all kinds of glass. I don't believe that it's marketed as specifically non-toxic, but I believe you could drink about a gallon of it and, aside from feeling somewhat queasy, you probably wouldn't be poisoned. It might be something to look in to if you're interested.
- Plain vinegar and water will work alone without the alcohol.
- You don't need the alcohol. For some reason I do not know using newspaper to rub with does a better job. We used it at work and Subway windows get filthy.
