Natural Glass Cleaner

I'm going to steam clean my carpet..i need to find a non toxic cleaner to steam with...anyone suggestions?

1. Mohawk makes cleaning solutions designed for steam cleaners, that are non toxic.
2. I remember my parent rented one from home depot or lewos( can not spell well so please no coment) when they sold they old house.
3. Try vinegar. Sounds crazy, but white vinegar in a half water-half vinegar mixture is great for cleaning. Acetic acid (vinegar) is not truly caustic, and eliminates odors. It is extremely inexpensive, and, after the initial scent, it dissipates. I hope this helps...
4. I do not understand your question! You do not need to use anything with a steamer, the hot steam sterilises, and cleans without the use of chemicals, that's the point of using them. I have owned a "polti" steam cleaner for years, and have never had to use any chemicals, or cleaners with it.However, I do add a couple of drops of neat lavender oil, which has disinfecting properties, and makes the house smell nice.
