What is the best non toxic cleaner to clean the walls after removing wall paper? I want it to be non toxic so my pregnant wife doesn't have to leave while I'm doing it. I was told to mix vinegar and water then spray it on the wall, let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe off. Is this legit? The person who told me, likes to mess with me!! Even if it is legit, I would still like to hear some other ideas that have been proven. I don't really want my house to smell like a big pickle!
Im looking for a natural non toxic floor cleaner? I usually wash my wooden laminate floors with floor cleaner suitable for laminate surfaces. However, my twins are starting to crawl and im nervous about using my regular one in case it could damage their health. I live in the city and my floors really need to be disinfected every day, especially now with babies around. But normal disinfectants could be dangerous to the boys as well as damaging to the floor itself. Does anyone know of anything natural i could use which would disinfect without damaging health or the floor surface? Changing my floors is not an optiion.
non-toxic hard wood floor cleaner? Usually I use a swiffer wet jet to clean my hardwood but I am looking for something non-toxic since my baby is now playing on the floor every day. Anyone know of a non-toxic stainless steel cleaner? We've got awesome new stainless steel kitchen appliances, but unfortunately already they are covered with tough fingerprints that a damp towel won't wipe away. I think they're stuck there due to the adhesive nature of the protective film covering the appliances from the factory. Anyway, the greasy stainless steel cleaner they sell in stores works great but is really toxic. And smells toxic too, like gasoline. Isn't there a safer and easier way to keep our kitchen appliances clean?
Is there a such thing as non toxic cleaning products? Are they really safe? Such as Melaleuca, Shaklee, etc. I looked at some of the ingredients of some of these products and some of them have similiar ingredients as the so called toxic products being sold in regular stores. Shaklee has a concentrated supposedly all natural germicide I do more coughing than cleaning with this product. As for Melaleuca I am not sure if all the cleaning products are really non toxic, or "natural. Are these companies just out to get money, or are their products really safer than some of the leading brand name companies such as Pine Sol, Lysol, Clorox. Or are these so called natural companies using scare tactics to get you financially involved with them?

Any other tips you have would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

What is the best thing to use to clean a really dirty window on the outside? There is an especially bad spot on one part of the window. It is driving me crazy!! I tried Windex but didn't do anything. This would be to clean it on the outside and hopefully be able to use to clean them inside as well. Does vinegar and water really work? I would prefer a non-toxic cleaner if possible as I have chemical sensitivities. Any suggestions as to a cleaning solution and/or technique I could use would be appreciated. Thanks!!
